The Summerhouse

Quite an atmospheric cafe inside the garden centre. The food was good and fresh, not like any greasy spoon cafe. Quite popular with the dog walkers too, as it is pet friendly too.

Has to be one of north London’s best hidden gems. The food does not belong in a garden centre cafe, but rather a 5* brunch spot. Delicious, amazingly presented and with the friendliest staff. Super attentive - staff made sure us and our dogs were well looked after all afternoon. Thanks guys!

The Summerhouse is a true hidden gem in North London. Tucked away in the garden centre, it offers a relaxing, warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is fresh, delicious, and always beautifully presented, and the staff are consistently friendly, attentive, and accommodating every time we visit. A wonderful place to meet friends, unwind, and enjoy great food - highly recommended!

Nest amongst Finchley garden centre. Lovely setting but their toasties were disappointing. Very small amount of filling and wasn’t tasty. Good service and really wonderful atmosphere though.

Absolutely lovely! I am celiac and the staff were able to accommodate this and alter most of the items on the menu. Even had a GF cake, I was so impressed! They were very busy but so happy to take the time to help me out and make sure I could have a delicious lunch. The mushrooms on (gluten free) toast made my entire bank holiday weekend, and the dog was welcome too. I'll be back!

I absolutely loved my breakfast at The Summerhouse Cafe. The avocado on toast was delicious, and the coffee was perfect. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. My children also had a lot of fun at The Summerhouse Cafe. I would highly recommend The Summerhouse Cafe to anyone looking for a great breakfast, a fun family outing, or a relaxing place to enjoy a cup of coffee. What a gem in north west London. Delicious food, friendly service and a brilliant atmosphere. I went there with my family for lunch and has to be some of the best eggs I’ve ever tasted! Will be back for sure!
